The Indian government has introduced an official website - https://www.pmsuryaghar.gov.in/ to simplify rooftop solar solutions. This is a one single window where consumers, solar installers, manufacturers, banks, electricity board and power ministry are available. For consumers prospectives, they can apply solar application self and track progress of submitted applications. They can contact the bank for rooftop solar loans and claim subsidy amounts. There are documents available on this website so any consumers can get more information about solar.
How can Consumers Create Solar Account & Login?
Similar to other websites, here is the same process for registration and login of solar. When you want to apply for solar installation, then you must have an electricity bill, mobile number and email id. When you have these things, then visit on https://www.pmsuryaghar.gov.in/ and follow the following steps:
Create Solar Account:

Click on REGISTER HERE,

Choose your State & Districty,

Choose your Electricity Board (DISCOM),

Then Enter Consumer Account Number (mentioned on your electricity bill)

Then Click on Next Button
After clicking Next Button, your solar account has been created after verification of Mobile OTP or Email OTP.
Login Solar Account:

Enter your Mobile Number,

Enter Captcha,

Then Click on Next
After clicking Next Button, you will receive OTP on your registered mobile number and email id. Now, paste OTP on a given section. When an OTP verifed, National Rooftop Solar Portal Dashboard will open where you will see multiple option, such as Current Status, Registered Vendors, Application Knowledgment, Download E-token, Feasibility Letter, Help Documents, and more. After login, you need to fill in more information such as Proposal Capacity (in kW), Existing Installed Capacity (in kW), and then submit. After submiting, you can download Application Acknowledgement and Download Letter. Now, you need to wait for a feasibility letter then you can do the next process.
