Most of the time, you see that there are mainly two types of cell- mono and poly.
If you see physically, a poly panel is of denim blue colour pattern type of solar cells. If we see mono cells, the colour is black and diamond cut which seem like black dots on the corner cuts. The second thing in a mono cell is that it is pure silicon and a poly cell is not pure silicon.
That’s why mono cells’ efficiency is better than that of poly. Also, if we talk about the busbars, they allow the movements of electrons. Mono has more number of busbars, say nine, whereas poly has five. So, it’s obvious that the electrons would be moving better through the mono panels as compared to poly cells.
